Congratulations to the 2020 MGRI PDD Travel Award Winners!

Recognizing that one of the challenges to career advancement are resources to support travel and participation in professional meetings, the MGRI Post Doctoral Division within the Center for Faculty Development’s Office for Research Career Development established the MGRI PDD Travel Awards. This award is intended to help defray registration, transportation, and/or accommodation costs for post-doctoral fellows currently doing research at MGH who wish to attend an academic/society meeting directly related to his/her academic advancement. Winners:

Jing Cai – Postdoctoral Fellow in the Center for Nervous System Repair performing research on higher level processes in the brain.

Bryan Baxter – Postdoctoral Fellow in the Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Biomedical Imaging performing research examining how noninvasive stimulation interacts with endogenous neural activity during sleep and how this interaction can be utilized to improve cognition and memory.

Kendell Clement – Postdoctoral Fellow in the Center for Cancer Research using computational algorithms to understand and interpret biological data.

Ran Li – Postdoctoral Fellow in the Center for Systems Biology studying immune cell-tumor cell interactions in vivo using intravital imaging.
