International Postdocs Subcommittee

The goal of this committee is to help international postdocs transition to work at MGH as smoothly as possible. The aims of this subcommittee are:
(1) Enable cultural adaptation. We aim to organize several gatherings for international MGH postdocs, whereby they may seek guidance on issues related to life in Boston.
(2) Provide workshops pertaining to Visa and Green Card issues, hosted by immigration lawyers.
(3) Run the International Buddies Program

International Buddies

The MGPA International Postdocs Subcommittee is running an International Buddy System, where we connect incoming international postdocs with international postdocs currently working at MGH. We all know how difficult moving to a new country can be, so we are connecting incoming postdocs with an international postdoc currently working at MGH, so that they can chat and get advice on how to navigate the challenges of moving to a new institution, city, and country.
